I was reading your comments about the crime rate and wanted to let everyone know about the way they have caused the crime rate to drop in a large city in southern Ontario. Our friend bought a $200,000 in a good neighbourhood and realized right after moving there that there was a drug dealer next door to him and another one right across the street. Upon informing the police he was advised that they will NOT take action because they would have to file a report and that would give the city a bad name and family people would not move there so they have no intention of doing a 'drug bust'. That is ONE city's way of keeping down the crime rate --- deflate the figures! Sad.
